The Business and Social Convention will be the first of its kind in Canada and it will be taking place from June 29 to July 2, 2012. The Convention will be held at the beautiful Sheraton Wall Hotel in the heart of Downtown Vancouver and will bring together Ugandan Diaspora in Canada and different parts of the world together with Ugandan and Canadian Businesses who are seeking business and investment opportunities. The Convention will therefore feature distinguished guests, high-ranking officials, businessmen from Uganda and Canada, Organizations such as Uganda Investment Authority and Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Investments (DFAIT) Canada and individuals interested in investing either in Uganda or Canada. Prominent international guest speakers that are highly accomplished and serve as exemplary community heroes will also be present.
