The purposes of the Society are:

a) Uganda Cultural Association of British Columbia is a non-profit and non-partisan association dedicated to work with Uganda-Canadian Citizens as well as other Ugandans residing in British Columbia for the purposes of ensuring their full integration and participation in Canadian society.

b) To promote better acquaintance, understanding and co-operation among Ugandan-Canadian Citizens and friends residing in British Columbia and across Canada.

c) To preserve and promote the cultures of Ugandans in British Columbia thereby contributing to the multicultural society of Canada.

d) To assist Ugandan immigrants and support their adjustment and participation in the communities of British Columbia in particular, and in Canada in general.

e) To enhance civic/political participation and integration in Canadian society
